The story
As a young woman, I wanted to go to Bali. Since we were already flying to Indonesia, we decided to see more. Orangutans live in Sumatra — we went for a few days. And I left my heart there.
I kept coming back. During my first trips, I discovered that the infrastructure was poor, nothing worked as you’d expect. I saw an opportunity — to simplify travel to Sumatra for people who want to experience it but don’t know where to start.
Today I live part of the year in Sumatra. I have a team of guides there, my own company, a car, lawyers. Every trip is built from personal experience — the places I recommend, I’ve walked myself. This isn’t selling from a catalog, it’s sharing something that changed my life.
Milestones
First trip to Sumatra
I came for the orangutans, planning a few days. I left knowing I’d be back.
Czech-Indonesian bakery
Founded a bakery in Sumatra. Five years of operation, closed during Covid.

Started organizing trips for other travelers. A personal passion became a project.

Vanilla farm in Sumatra
Long-term collaboration with local farmers and our own vanilla cultivation. During your stay, you can visit the farms and see the entire process — from flower to finished pod. The result is vanilla we sell in the Czech Republic under the Caldera Spices brand.
